Ummeed Foundation - a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Thane, India. Established in 2011 by Mr Parvez M. A. Farid, the organization aims to uplift the specially abled, women, and needy individuals in our community.
Over the last decade, Ummeed Foundation has impacted the lives of millions through working in thematic areas of disability, health, education, food & hunger, women empowerment, and livelihood, we believe in serving humanity without any discrimination based on caste, creed, or community.
Our mission is to promote a better quality of life for communities, with a special focus on vulnerable populations, by encouraging their full participation in the development of their communities. Our vision is to create sustainable community engagement where basic social services are accessible to the majority of the population.
